I’m not concerned with anyone’s personal conception of Christianity or Islam. Christians do not know “religious law” as Jews and Muslims do. Homosexual acts go against both the letter and spirit of Islam, and the passing of time cannot change that. A selective reading of the Qur’an (seeing that it praises science, but ignoring its explicit rulings) is no use.

“If God then made gay men and women, why would he also call them sinful?” – People are judged according to what they do, not who they are. If anybody claims that he has no choice but to sodomise, we will call him a fool, liar and sinner.

And no thanks for your snake-tongued prayers, though Almighty God may grant the request of whomever He wills, and leave in darkness whomever He wills.

You mean, read the Qur’an in order to reject it like you did? Is that the “progressive” ideal you promote, even though De Sondy is not an “ex-Muslim” like you, despite his egregious errors? We don’t need the testimony of non-Muslims as to who is a good Muslim.

Once, like in Islam, homosexuality was incompatible with Christianity too. But then, the world realised their mistakes and ignorance and decided to respect and accept gay men and women. Science, which is the true reflection of God’s work and which the Holy Quran gives a great amount of respect to, also has shown how homosexuality is in fact biological and natural. If God then made gay men and women, why would he also call them sinful? Who is wrong then? God or man’s interpretation and understadning of what he said?

Like all bigoted ideas, yours will also fall into the rubbish pile of history and hopefully this world will one day be free of the bigotry, discrimination and hatred that you spread through your own ignorance and naivity. May Allah bless you and show you the right way through his love and great knowledge.

I use to be a muslim but i no longer follow a religion that invokes death to force good behavior and to herd people toward a fantasy male paradise where men have 90 virgin wifes who revert back to being virgins after having sex with them!!! seriously wake up muslims and read the quran with an open mind! Dr De sondy is progressive and i wish we had more people like him that look at islam with open eyes.

Could u please give us some evidence from the Holy Quran. if you are Mr Sondy an islamic scholar then u must verify your claim wih some Quranic evidence.because as you are a an islamic scholar u must know the first rule of being a scholar which is that you should claim your evidences by Quranic or Holy Prophet’s(PBUH) sayings.
The talk that u have prsented to us is extremely controversial and every Muslim Condems your talk.
