If it is, one can hardly argue that it is reasonable to be a 'practising gay' muslim. I know that you are not making that case, but the people in the documentary were, and I think it not unreasonable to assume that there are many more like them ('practising gay' muslims) and not unreasonable to think that they are confused about the nature of mainstream Islam. I think you should check out my favourite blog, Butterflies and Wheels. You may recoil initially from its atheism, but your considered and largely reasonable views could make an informed contribution to many of the discussions, particularly on areas such as free speech.
